Mercy Rule Day! May 17th
Last year, almost no one wanted the 2nd week off. This year, the second week was Mother's Day, so the byes filled. However, in our third week of 2009, too many teams wanted to play, so the Commish declares, "Mercy Rule Day!" This will be a great way for developing teams to learn and eventually ascend.
Here's how it's gonna work: the Favorites are listed left and in bold. Fear not Underdogs: you have the advantage today, for the Favorites must Mercy-Win, and they will get credit for doing so. If not:
If the Favorite does not win by 10, then the game is a Tie.
If the Favorite ties the Underdog, the Underdog gets a Normal Win.
If the Underdog beats the Favorite, the Underdog gets a Mercy Win.
If the Underdog Mercy-Rules the Favorite, the Underdog gets Five (5) Mercy Wins!
