The website is undergoing daily changes. We want to make sure brooklynkickball.com serves its purposes: to be welcoming, clear, pretty, informative, and not too cluttered. We've added the links for My Space and for Friendster, put in the weather's current status, and changed the directions. Soon, I will be adding the Opening Day Logo, as well as making the field picture more vernal (perhaps a bed of tulips). As the season progresses, we will have a players' link off the homepage, featuring each player's picture, some personal info, and maybe even accurate stats. Of course we will take anyone's suggestions about improving the site.

Our Head Cheerleader, Sasha, is recovering quickly from her accident, as predicted. She's in good spirits and is very thankful to everyone showing concern and wishing her well. However, my other friend, and another co-director Jens, and our friend Josh Johnson, are a bit down after having massive amounts of their favorite music getting stolen from the trunk of my car. You're not Dead, Fresh Jens! I could go on on and on about how dumb I feel, and how sorry I am, but this site is not dedicated to narcissism. It's about Kickball damnit! But, Sorry Jensy and Josh.

Wow, yet more misfortune on a Sunday. Overall, Sundays have been beat to me, which is why I love that Kickball's on Sunday night. Getting together at McCarren with both old and new friends will be a perfect way to end the weekend and start the week. That's my new line. Fuck Mel Gibson, God Bless Kickball, and Eddie Vargas, our savior from the Parks Department, for giving us the field on what for me and many is usually a downright sucky, 60-Minutes until I slit my wrists kinda night. No, Andy Rooney does not provide me with humorous catharsis. But Kickball will!
